Thoughtfully reinventing Warsaw’s history of opulence and grandeur, the city’s luxury hotel scene is currently at the top of its game. Every property listed here makes a unique statement and all are highly recommended.
Hotel Verte, Warsaw
Warsaw is still plagued by Cold War cliches about concrete, which is a shame, as the luxury hotels more often hark back to the palaces and turn-of-the-century establishments of the city’s great history. The unique location and signature style of these properties make it hard to imagine most of them anywhere else. From the dizzying views of the InterContinental to the Art Deco Bristol, these hotels have a firm foot in both the past and the present, without ever skimping on quality. Even the Nobu, which makes great use of concrete, does so with warmth and comfort. Ultimately, personal taste will be what sets these hotels apart.
In this class, rates really will vary according to season, demand, and location. Prices are highest in the summer (late June to the end of September) and around Easter and Christmas, when you could end up paying 800zł (172€) per night for a double room in the Bristol and as much as 1,200zł (260€) for the InterContinental. All other properties lie somewhere between.
Costs can drop to 500zł (105€) per night for the Bristol at other times of the year – also a double room, with the Nobu coming in at around 750zł (160€).
Exchange rates are as of October 2023.
