Hotel Bristol is perhaps Warsaw’s most iconic place to stay. This landmark of the Art Nouveau era had a few rough years but is once again one of the city’s most luxurious.
Hotel Bristol
Sat proudly on Krakowskie Przedmieście, one of Warsaw’s most prestigious addresses, the Hotel Bristol has been an unmistakable landmark since 1901. Although it fell into disrepair during the post-war era, it is again the epitome of luxury. (Check availability and pricing on Booking.com or Agoda.com).
Whilst many of the rooms are a little understated, there is nevertheless a sense of quality in the fixtures and fabrics. The bathrooms, though, have a marbled theme with generous tubs and Deco fittings. The lobbies and other public areas, however, are where this hotel really comes into its own. There is a stunning pool and various legendary restaurants, cafes, and bars – noticeably the atmospheric Column Bar.
Hotel Bristol
You might expect a stuffiness to come with such a renowned establishment. But the helpful staff here add the final flourish. More than just a hotel, the Bristol is a slice of Warsaw history.
