La Playa is a seasonal bar and club on one of Warsaw’s sandy beaches. Worth a visit just to see the sun go down and the lights come on in the Old Town.

Surprisingly, Warsaw has sandy beaches along the Vistula river and the La Playa Music Bar is blessed with sundown views of the Old Town directly across the water. Set up like a Thai beach bar, with club nights, food, and cocktails, this is possibly the last thing you’d expect to find in Poland’s capital city.
Note: La Playa Music Bar is only operational during the summer months and effectively disappears for the rest of the year. Assuming it returns for next seasons, see the official Facebook page for updates.

Praga District: Across the Vistula river lies the eastern district of Praga, often considered ‘Bohemian Warsaw’.
