Mamaison is an Eastern European hotel chain that converts historical properties into best-in-class boutique hotels. Located on a quiet, cobbled street in the so-called New Town (just north of the Old Town), the 18th-century Mokrowsky Palace has been transformed into the area’s best place to stay.
The rooms are a blend of a classic Polish style with modernist touches. Gorgeous modern furniture mixes well with regal flora murals. The district is full of great restaurants, but try traditional U Barssa on the Market Square, if you can’t decide.
