Dom Wódki means “House of Vodka”, and there are over 750 varieties of the spirit here to be expertly matched with the Michelin-listed menu.
elixir by Dom Wódki
At elixir by Dom Wódki, every item on the Central and Eastern European menu is accompanied by one or two recommended alcohols, sometimes with one for before and after the dish. So, for example, the goat cheese salad is paired with either the Stumbras Quince or the Chopin Organic. Finlandia Blackcurrant is recommended to go with the red borscht. And the vegetarian cauliflower main dish goes well with the Amundsen Owoce Leśn or Pravda Kosher. Pace yourself!

Old and New Town Districts: Meticulously reconstructed after WWII, Warsaw’s historical Old Town contains many of the city’s key landmarks, including the must-see Royal Castle, and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. The New Town is quieter and home to excellent boutique hotels, such as the Mamaison Le Regina. The district is full of great restaurants, but try traditional U Barssa on the Market Square, if you can’t decide.
